PrizePicks launches new advertising campaign ahead of NBA season

PrizePicks will begin airing the latest installment of the It’s Good to Be Right campaign with a new social driven commercial series starring well-known basketball stars Allen Iverson and Candace Parker, social media influencer Drew ‘Druski’ Desbordes and comedic actor Sam Richardson.
In the feature spot, Iverson and Richardson showcase how to use the PrizePicks platform while the actor humorously demonstrates just how much he mirrors the former NBA star. Parker and Druski will be featured in a series of television spots which help to advertise the operator’s recently debuted PrizePicks Feed social feature.
“We are thrilled to team up with basketball and cultural icons to showcase our new social features, making it simpler than ever to get in on the action with PrizePicks,” PrizePicks CMO Mike Quigley said.
“These humorous spots show off that ‘It’s Good to be Right,’ even if that means leaning on the knowledge of your friends.”
PrizePicks Feed allows users to view and interact with picks made by their friends or the PrizePicks community in real time.
“I have always shared my game with the fans…the crossover, the swagger, the headband,” Iverson said.
“This campaign lets me bring that same vibe. It’s about hoops, culture and me having fun with the fans.”
Good to know: PrizePicks formed a new partnership with gaming software company Mindway AI on October 1 to enhance its capability of detecting and responding to potential problem gaming behaviors
Parker also commented on the new marketing campaign, having said, “One thing I know about PrizePicks players is that they know ball and they love to win.
“I know a thing or two about winning, and this campaign is all about teaming up and getting in on the action together.”
The changes to the social elements of the operator’s application are said to be complemented by newly debuted player profiles, which let users see stats pertaining to their use of PrizePicks.
