PrizePicks partners with Mindway AI to enhance problem gaming detection

Key Points
- The gaming software company looks to provide operators with automated detection capable of monitoring consumers’ at-risk and problem gaming behavior
- PrizePicks’ stated the partnership also enhances its ability to promote support resources such as Kindbridge Behavioral Health and self-exclusion tools
PrizePicks has formed a new partnership with gaming software company Mindway AI to enhance its capability of detecting and responding to potential problem gaming behaviors, such as shifts towards more frequent play, increased session frequency or accelerated spending.
“Partnering with Mindway marks a meaningful evolution in how we support player protection,” PrizePicks Senior Director of Responsible Gaming Phil Sherwood said.
“By enhancing our ability to analyze behavioral data, we’re able to deliver more tailored interventions and promote responsible play tools with greater precision—helping ensure a safer, more sustainable experience for all of our players.”
The integration of Mindway AI’s Game Scanner allows for the “proactive identification” of concerning player patterns, and also helps PrizePicks improve upon its ability to promote support resources such as Kindbridge Behavioral Health and self-exclusion tools.
Good to know: Performance Predictions II, a subsidiary of PrizePicks, became the first company affiliated with a fantasy sports operator to be officially registered as a Futures Commission Merchant by the National Futures Association on September 23
“Today marks an exciting day for our company. Partnering with PrizePicks signifies a hugely positive step for player protection not only in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) realm but in the North American market as a whole,” Mindway AI CEO Rasmus Kjaergaard said.
“We are proud and rearing to go on our journey with PrizePicks, which we are fully confident will lead to solid outcomes for both risk minimization for their players but also increased commercial benefit for PrizePicks.”
PrizePicks also stated customer support representatives will develop a more “holistic understanding” of individual player needs to ensure proper guidance is issued, eventually leading to what the DFS operator hopes is a “safer and more supportive” betting environment.
