PrizePicks launches new social feed feature

Daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator PrizePicks has announced the launch of some new social features on its app.
Among the changes is ‘The Feed,’ a social platform that will allow players to interact with each other more fluidly on the app itself.
The changes to the social elements of the app are complemented by the recently launched player profiles, which let users see stats pertaining to their use of PrizePicks.
Dylan Cooper, PrizePicks SVP of Product, has said: “We’re advancing the daily fantasy sports world forward into its next phase, blending how fans socialise online with how they root for their favorite players on gameday.”

On the PrizePicks feed users can see other people’s line-ups, whether that’s their friends or celebrities using the app – it will be possible to react to lineups just as people react on other forms of social media.
Cooper went on to say: “These social features create an interactive experience that allows players to build lineups, ride with their favorite celebrities and flex their knowledge with their friends, all within the PrizePicks app.”
Czech lottery firm Allwyn recently acquired a majority stake in PrizePicks and, shortly after, the brand received Futures Commission Merchant approval, meaning it seems set to start offering sports event contracts.
