GeoComply technology goes live at Snoqualmie Casino
Allows casino to be the first in the state to allow on-premises mobile betting.
GeoComply has gone live with its sportsbook technology at the Snoqualmie Casino in Washington State, making the casino the first gaming facility in the state to have on-premises mobile sports betting.
This on-premises betting would not be possible were it not for GeoComply’s mobile solution, PinPoint. This technology will allow bettors at the casino to use their mobile devices to make wagers and not require them to stand in line at kiosks or betting terminals. Not only is this more convenient for the customer, it also allows for in-play betting.
According to Sam Basile, General Manager of PinPoint: “To permit patrons to wager from within the Snoqualmie Casino and its immediate surroundings, while excluding areas like their convenience store, is a complex geolocation requirement that is made possible by our PinPoint technology. We are excited to be part of this new chapter of gaming in Washington State.”
The identification gambit is a trademark of GeoComply, which specializes in cybersecurity solutions – most notably by using location detection – to eliminate fraud from the user’s experience.
