VELO to sponsor the 2021 World Series of Poker
VELO will gift $50,000 in cash prizes for the Player of The Year and No Limit Leaderboard winners.
VELO, a company that provides alternatives to traditional smoking methods, has been announced as an official sponsor to the 2021 World Series of Poker. The tournament, taking place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & and Casino in Las Vegas, will host a number of VELO events and feature the tag-line ‘Never Miss a Hand’.
“We’re constantly exploring new and different ways to elevate our presence and enhance experiences for our age 21+ nicotine consumers,” said Leila Medeiros, senior vice president of next-generation products for Reynolds.
“This partnership is a natural fit for VELO. The World Series of Poker is the game’s most anticipated event. It provides the perfect backdrop for VELO to give a hand to the fans and players enjoying the tournament experience while interacting responsibly with age 21+ nicotine consumers.”
The sponsorship will feature a cash prize of $50,000 for the tournaments Player of The Year and No Limit Leaderboard, Winners. On top of this, branding will be featured on the main stage and in various pieces of television coverage.
Branded signage, banners, and advertisement placements will also be featured at McCarran International Airport to reach adult travellers coming in for the WSOP tournament as well.

The World Series of Poker is the biggest poker tournament in the United States. Since its inception in 1970 the competition has awarded more than $3.29bn in prize money.
