Free Satellite Road to CoinPoker’s $1M Guaranteed CoinMillion Starts July 3
CoinPoker is opening the door to its richest online festival of the year with a run of satellite tournaments that let players start from zero and work their way up to a seat in the $1,000,000 guaranteed CoinMillion.
The qualification path launches July 3 and runs through July 12, setting the stage for the wider Battle of Malta Online Series, a 23-day festival that guarantees $30 million and runs from July 12 to August 3.
A Free Ramp to a $215 Ticket
The headline draw is that nobody has to risk any money to start climbing toward the CoinMillion. Step 4 satellites, which serve as the ladder’s entry point, cost nothing to enter and run three times daily during the qualification window. The buy-ins rise gradually with each stage:
- Step 3: These satellites cost between $0.10 and $0.50, with 20-75 seats guaranteed up to Step 2.
- Step 2: These range from $0.55 to $4.40, sending 6-85 winners through to Step 1.
- Step 1 Direct Satellites: These run seven times a day (nine on July 12), with buy-ins from $5.50 to $44. They award 3-100 seats straight into the $215 CoinMillion.
Altogether, players will win at least 1,024 seats into the CoinMillion through the satellite scene, with the action starting from July 3. Players also have the option to skip the ladder entirely and buy into Step 1 directly for a shot at the $215 seat.
CoinMillion Runs With Two Days of Play
The previous edition of CoinMillion came during CoinPoker’s World Poker Masters series. It attracted 4,278 entries and paid its winner, DaniC1994, $126,500, which is almost 600x the buy-in.
This time around, day one begins on July 12, with the field playing down before returning the following day for a shot at the seven-figure payout.
Players will start with 100,000 chips, which gives them enough for 200 big blinds. The structure allows unlimited re-entries through Level 16. Bubble protection and a blind rollback at the final table aim to reward patience over survival.
One Part of a $30 Million Festival
CoinMillion forms part of the Battle of Malta Online Series. The festival has three flagship tournaments in total, of which the $565 Main Event carries a $2.5 million guarantee. There is also the $55 Main Challenger and the $11 Main Crusader.
CoinPoker will make 100 packages for the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition available, each worth $2,500. Players can win one by running deep in events or through the multi-stage Champion’s Trials. The organizer will award 77 physical trophies across the highlight tournaments, with winners invited to Malta for the CoinPoker Trophy Ceremony.
Some of the bigger buy-in events will attract high rollers. The $1,500 CoinMasters BTC has $1 million guaranteed, and the $5,200 Iron Throne has $400,000 guaranteed.
Recreational players will have the chance to do battle against CoinPoker ambassadors on July 23 through three buy-in tiers, between $1 and $530. The series comes to a close with 120 events over the final weekend, guaranteeing a combined $10 million in prize money.
