Esports Entertainment Group to partner with Baltimore Ravens
EEG will be NFL team’s esports tournament provider via Esports Gaming League.
Esports Entertainment Group, Inc., on Thursday said it has signed a multi-year partnership with the Baltimore Ravens to be the NFL franchise’s esports tournament provider.
The two parties said EEG will operate bi-annual esports tournaments for the Ravens utilizing the company’s Esports Gaming League (EGL) platform.
According to Esports Entertainment, EGL enables live and online events and tournaments in which gamers compete and enjoy content relating to esports and video games on a proprietary technology platform.
The services EGL offers include esports events, live broadcast production, game launches and online branded tournaments.
EEG said it will leverage player imagery within the Ravens’ local market, and it will work with Ravens players to create custom videos promoting the tournaments. These videos will be featured in the Ravens’ ongoing digital marketing efforts on social, email, mobile and online channels.
