Betsson’s Inkabet partners with GiG in Peru

The sportsbook’s Peruvian brand is set to begin operations by the end of the month.
Ahead of its market debut later this month, Inkabet, Betsson’s Peruvian brand, has announced a partnership to integrate its offerings to Gaming Innovation Group’s (GiG) platform.
Following Betsson’s acquisition of the Inkabet brand in 2021, the organization has extended its long-running partnership with GiG across the Americas, as the pair introduce this new arrangement to the Peruvian market.
Inkabet was recently granted its operational license in Peru and will be hoping to make use of GiG’s knowledge of the national and wider LatAm market as it enters this new phase.
For GiG, this latest announcement comes amidst of a rebranding of its media divisoin from GiG Media to Gentoo Media, ahead of a previously annouced spinoff which will see Gentoo become an independent company in Q3 2024.
In March, GiG announced two new licenses for sports betting in Pennsylvania and Maryland, as well as a platform collaboration with Ventures Lab in June which sought to enhance its operations in Ontario. Now, this latest agreement will look to further bolster its standing in the Latin American market.
