The deal has been enabled via the recent acquisition of WGames.

Hard Rock Digital has announced the addition of a new wing to its business called Hard Rock Games.

This new business unit will be focused on the development and management of free-to-play online and mobile games.

Recently, Hard Rock acquired WGames, a social mobile gaming company and, through the “enhanced in-house technology” and operational and development capabilities, believes it will help the growth of its social gaming growth.

Via this acquisition, Hard Rock gains WGames’ full set of gaming titles, including Jackpot Plant and Neverland Casino, which will now become a part of Hard Rock’s own portfolio.

EMD (Executive Managing Director) of Hard Rock Digital, Rafi Ashkenazi, said, "With the addition of WGames' world class games, technology and operations, we have set the stage to accelerate growth for our social gaming business.

"Hard Rock Games' enhanced capabilities will allow us to better engage our worldwide player communities with exceptional digital experiences and entertain our players like no one else can."

Managing Director of Hard Rock Games, Daniel Kajouie, added, "It's truly an honor to be part of the incredible Hard Rock organization, a global entertainment and hospitality leader, and we look forward to developing immersive gaming experiences for our millions of customers worldwide.”

Last month, NeoGames’ Pariplay subsidiary partnered with Hard Rock Digital and its Hard Rock Bet New Jersey platform, with the pair launching Pariplay’s slot games, which are available on the Wizard Games studio through Pariplay’s Fusion platform.

Meanwhile, Playtech made an $85m investment in Hard Rock Digital earlier this year. Its influence here is an interesting prospect.
