Four CoinMillions Coming to CoinPoker in September

Tournament players on CoinPoker are in for a special treat next month, as the operator plans to run four CoinMillion events in September, one more than it has run in the entirety of its history.

The CoinMillion gives players the chance to play for a massive $1 million prize pool at an affordable $215 price point. Sunday million-dollar guarantees have been a staple of the online poker tournament schedule for decades, and CoinPoker is making its version a more regular part of the schedule.

Here’s a look at the dates and times of the upcoming CoinMillions:

• Sept. 6 at 4:30 p.m. UTC (12:30 p.m ET)
• Sept. 13 at 4:30 p.m. UTC (12:30 p.m ET)
• Sept. 20 at 4:30 p.m. UTC (12:30 p.m ET)
• Sept. 27 at 4:30 p.m. UTC (12:30 p.m ET)

Each one will be part of the upcoming Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC), CoinPoker’s latest and biggest online tournament festival. It features $50 million in guarantees.

Prior editions of the CoinMillion drew between 3,856 and 4,784 entries. The first two winners each banked more than $120,000 in prize money, along with special digital trophies. In the most recent event, held Aug. 9-10, three players made a deal for about $80,000 apiece.

To accommodate growing interest in the CoinMillion, CoinPoker will reportedly increase the unique player cap from 4,000 to 6,000. The GOPC editions of the CoinMillion could produce some of the biggest prize pools yet on the site, since they’re part of the most ambitious tournament series that CoinPoker has run to date.
