This is the first GAN Sports US deployment since the company acquired COOLBET last year.

GAN Limited has released its GAN Sports sportsbook at the Island View Casino in Gulfport, Mississippi. The company anticipates a “robust cadence” of additional product launches during the next year.

The Island View sportsbook launch is the first sportsbook release in the US since GAN acquired COOLBET at the end of 2021. The company developed GAN Sport using COOLBET technology that has been tailored for the US market.

GAN President and CEO Dermot Smurfit said: “The entire GAN team is excited to partner with Island View Casino Resort and deliver our complete enterprise solution of on-property GAN, PAM and the omnichannel iBridge Framework for linking loyalty programs.

“We look forward to driving the future growth of their existing sportsbook business and increasing the proportion of our B2B revenues derived from US sports betting as we scale this new B2B revenue stream."

GAN is a North American technology solutions provider and supplies internet gaming software to US land-based casinos. Its brand is also prominent in the Latin American and European markets.

Island View Casino Resort Vice President of Operations Steve Hendricks said the decision to work with GAN was based on the company’s reputation for creating quality sports betting products.

He commented: "We selected GAN for the quality of their sports betting technology and managed trading services following our evaluation of all major potential suppliers.

“GAN has now brought to our patrons an exciting new on-property sports betting experience enabled by their modern technology and market-leading user interface design greatly encouraging our patrons to construct high-margin, multi-stage parlay bets as well as traditional single-game wagers."
