Boots Hill Casino, a Butler National subsidiary, is set to offer GNOG’s sportsbook in Kansas.

Butler National Corporation, through its subsidiary Boots Hill Casino & Resort, has entered into an agreement with Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG), which will see GNOG open its interactive sportsbook to Kansas.

New sports betting legislation in the Sunflower State allows Boots Hill Casino to contract with three sports wagering platform providers – subject to regulatory approval – which comes in addition to its existing ability to offer sports wagering at the location.

Boots Hill Casino signed agreements with Bally’s and DraftKings, owner of GNOG, earlier this year, in anticipation of Kansas launching sports betting. Now that the Kansas Attorney General’s Office has approved all remaining Kansas Lottery regulations, sports betting is on track to launch on September 1 statewide.

Anyone who meets the legal state requirements will be able to place bets directly from their mobiles and computers, by visiting a lottery gaming facility or by accessing a participating sportsbook, such as Boots Hill Casino.

Butler National believes that the GNOG brand already has recognition within Kansas and that bettors within the state will be eager to visit the sportsbook to place their first legal wagers. Its CEO and Corporation President Clark Stewart commented: “GNOG is a recognized and established brand within the gaming industry. We're thrilled our customers may soon experience all the excitement that online sports betting has to offer with this popular platform.

“In addition, we're excited for DraftKings, as the parent company of GNOG, to be able to bring Kansans a seamless, safe and premium sports betting experience through its GNOG branded sportsbook, subject to receipt of requisite regulatory approvals."
