Sportsnet partners with Sportradar
The collaboration is set to provide data-based content to the Canadian market.
Sportradar has reported that Sportsnet, a Canadian sports network, has selected the company to deliver data-driven content for sports fans within the region.
Some of the services provided will include real-time statistics, player information and advanced data sets, which will be incorporated into Sportsnet broadcasts, who have rights deals for sports such as baseball, basketball and hockey, among many others.
This is all made possible through Sportradar’s OnAir service. Additional access will also be given to Sportradar’s statistical experts and radar360, which is Sportradar’s web-based research application, that Sportsnet can utilize within the services that it offers.
All of Sportsnet’s brand portfolio will be supported by Sportradar, which includes regional channels, its radio network, as well as the Sportsnet’s app and podcasts.

At the start of November, Sportradar announced that the Maine Gambling Control Unit (MGCU) had granted Sportradar’s US betting subsidiary, Sportradar Solutions, a temporary Sports Betting Supplier License for the state of Maine.
Also, a few days before that, Sportradar’s third quarter results for 2023 were unveiled, showing growth across all segments, with revenue in the US segment rising 11% to $37m.
