Evolution brokers new agreement with Atlantic Lottery

The deal introduces the provider to the Atlantic Canadian region, spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Evolution has entered into a new agreement with Atlantic Canada’s official lottery provider, Atlantic Lottery (AL), which sees the introduction of a range of Evolution gaming options to players across the regions of New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador and Nova Scotia.  

As per the new arrangement, AL will now offer gaming options from Evolution, Big Time Gaming, NetEnt, Red Tiger and Nolimit City through its own online casino platform. Despite currently only yielding one fully regulated gambling market in Ontario, Canada now has five provincial governmental bodies which possess partnerships with Evolution.  

This new collaborative agreement with AL – alongside pre-existing arrangements with BCLC, AGLC, OLG and Loto-Québec – places Evolution in a favorable position in the Canadian market, particularly as fully regulated online gaming in Alberta is seemingly around the corner.

The acquisition of Galaxy Gaming by Evolution in June for $85m conjoined with strong Q2 performance from the provider. However, the company fell under the microscope in August for conflict with the Culinary Union after a complaint was filed for unfair labor practices.
