Both its cafe and bowling alley were closed for renovations.

The Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians and Black Oak Casino Resort will celebrate the reopening of its Black Oak Lanes bowling alley on Saturday from 6PM to 10PM, according to a local report in The Union Democrat.

The casino resort began renovations on its Black Oaks Cafe and bowling alley earlier this year.

Guests at the 24-lane bowling alley’s grand reopening can rent free shoes, along with a free Spark Bowling upgrade. Bowlers can also spin a prize wheel to win merchandise.

Black Oak Casino Resort reopened the cafe last week. Current operational hours are from 8AM to 10PM from Sunday to Thursday and 8AM to 2PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Black Oak Casino Resort is home to a 148-room hotel, a full-service conference and event center 1,174 slot machines and 22 table games. The destination also has live entertainment, eight bars and restaurants and a video game arcade.

In addition to the current resort enhancements, the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians said it plans to a family fun center next to the resort, the local report said. The new facility, Elevate, is scheduled to open later this month.

Elevate will sit adjacent to the resort and will offer guests access to entertainment options like batting cages, ax throwing, dodgeball, slum dunk basketball and ninja warrior’s courses within its 20,000 square-foot space.

Tribal spokeswoman Lee Ann Brown told local news that the resort is excited to share its facility upgrades with patrons.

She commented, “We are excited to share the changes and will be doing the following promotions to share our new renovations.”
