Charlotte Hornets signs long-term agreement with bet365

Hornets Sports & Entertainment (HSE) and bet365 have signed an exclusive and long-term agreement that will name bet365 as the Charlotte Hornets’ official partner.

Under the terms of the deal, bet365 will also represent the team as its official mobile sports betting partner, subject to the company gaining a North Carolina operating license.

Spectrum Center will now feature bet365 signage. The company logo will be displayed on courtside baseline aprons and other in-area signage.

The company will also have branding rights on the team’s website, as well as on its social media platforms, radio and TV broadcasts.

Hornets Sports & Entertainment Chief Revenue Officer Jacob Gallagher said, “We are excited to announce this partnership with bet365.

“Since the day Governor Roy Cooper signed sports wagering into law at Spectrum Center in June, we sought a partner that would help us provide our fans with new, additional opportunities to engage with their favorite sports teams.

"We are confident that bet365 is a great fit with our organization and can help us do that.”

More than 90 million users across 160 countries and 22 languages represent the bet365 customer base.

A bet365 spokesperson discussed the company’s excitement to team up and said it looks forward to expanding its presence in North Carolina.

The spokesperson commented, “Everyone at bet365 is thrilled to partner with the Hornets, as we launch our iconic sports betting brand in North Carolina.

"The Hornets’ rich and dynamic history is deep rooted in the Queen City community, and we’re abuzz to become part of their exciting future.”
