Nevada gaming revenue reached $821m for the month of September, its highest since casinos reopened in June but still down 22% year-on-year.
The Strip earned $355m for the month, a decrease of 39%, while downtown Las Vegas brought in $52m for a 21% drop.
Nevada sportsbooks saw a handle of $575m in September, a 5% increase from a year ago. Net win amounted to $33m.
Football accounted for $220m of handle, down from $378m a year ago. Sportsbook profited $11m from the gridiron, a 73% year-on-year decline.
Slots far outperformed table and card games for the month, raking in $608m for a 12% loss from a year ago. Table and card games earned $214m, down 42%.
Many jurisdictions saw revenue improve from a year ago, including Douglas County which earned $25m, a 36% increase.
Washoe County, home of Reno, earned $79m for a 3% improvement.
