The Betsson logo will appear on the Men's and Women's team shirts until the end of 2024.

Betsson has become the main sponsor of the Argentinian soccer team Club Atletico Boca Juniors, in a deal that will end at the end of 2024.

In the upcoming season, Boca Junior’s jersey will feature Betsson on the front of both the men’s and the women’s team shirts.

The agreement was signed by Jorge Amor Ameal, President of Boca Juniors, Jesper Svensson and Ronni Hartvig, CEO and CCO of Betsson Group, and Maximiliano Bellio, Betsson’s Country Manager for Argentina.

Sponsorship from betting companies within football has been a hot topic recently, with the Premier League announcing it will ban gambling companies from appearing on shirts from the start of the 2025-26 season.

Betsson has also pledged to actively collaborate with the club to implement social initiatives within the local community.

Betsson Group CEO, Jesper Svensson, said, “Boca is unquestionably the most esteemed team in South American football. It has been home to legendary players like Diego Maradona, who alongside other remarkable players, has elevated Boca to an iconic team globally.

"By sponsoring Boca, we are partnering with the most recognised sports brand in Latin America, thereby strengthening our rapid and consistent expansion in the region.”

Ronni Hartvig, Chief Commercial Officer of Betsson Group, said, "This alliance will mark a significant milestone for Betsson at a regional level. It will accelerate the exposure of our brand throughout Latin America and beyond.

"We are excited to enter into a partnership with a club that transcends borders, boasting millions of supporters and fans all around the world.”
