The Spanish-language online casino brand will partner with the Mexican TV host to promote its safe gambling options.

SkillOnNet has partnered with Mexican television host Facundo Gómez to create more exposure for its Mexican online casino brand, PlayUzu. The new brand ambassador will promote responsible ways to play casino games and advertise PlayUzu’s new options.

Gómez, who is usually known simply by the stage name Facundo, is an influencer as well as a host who is known for his series Toma Libre and Incognito. He has also participated in Mexico’s Big Brother VIP.

Michael Golembo, Sales and Marketing Director for SkillOnNet, commented, “Facundo Gómez has more than 3 million followers on social media and is unbelievably popular in Mexico, which makes him the perfect brand ambassador for PlayUZU as it continues to make huge strides in this region.”

Facundo Gómez commented on the partnership, "We are very happy to combine forces with PlayUZU allowing us to offer Mexicans different and safe ways to approach online casino games through a safe and reliable platform.

"PlayUZU not only has a wide variety of game slots and live dealers, but also has the best international game providers and analysis tools for games to increase the safety of users and ensure a safe entertainment experience.”

SkillOnNet noted the growth of the online casino market in Mexico as part of its reasoning for choosing a Mexican influencer. Last week, SkillOnNet announced a partnership with MGA Games, with a view to expanding the company’s reach within the Portuguese market as well.

SkillOnNet was also recently found to have breached Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice in the UK, however, and must pay a regulatory settlement of £305,150 ($380200)
