Indiana earns July sports betting revenue of $6.7m

Indiana took in $6.7m of sports betting revenue for the month of July, up 128% from June.
July marked the first full month of reopened casinos in Indiana since the coronavirus outbreak.
Sports betting handle reached $70m.
Overall gaming revenue totaled $166m led by $147m of slot win. Table games generated $29m in revenue.
The return of American professional sports leagues bolstered sportsbooks, as bettors wagered $15m on baseball, $6m on basketball and $1m on football. International sports such as European soccer accounted for $33m of sports betting handle.
August could be another strong month for Indiana sportsbooks as the Indiana Pacers compete in the NBA playoffs.
