Great Canadian debuts Pickering Casino Resort Hotel in Toronto

Its casino floor has more than 2,200 slot machines, as well as table games.

Great Canadian Entertainment has opened its latest destination, Pickering Casino Resort Hotel. The 275-room resort sits east of downtown Toronto, in the Canadian province of Ontario.

Great Canadian Entertainment currently operations 12 casino resort locations within the province, including Pickering Casino Resort Hotel.

Pickering features a 2,500-seat theatre and event space, as well as a Great Canadian Sportsbook and 96,000 square-feet of casino space. Players will have access more than 90 live table games, 140 deal terminals and 2,200 slot machines.

Guests at the hotel will have access to spacious suites and fine dining options. The resort offers lake views and complementary parking to its patrons.

Group CEO Matthew Anfinson commented: “We are committed to offering the very best in entertainment to destinations across Canada and continually heightening the experience for our guests while investing in the communities in which we operate.

“Pickering Casino Resort is a great example of our vision to introduce multi-venue attractions that anchor the very best in hospitality, dining, and entertainment, while allowing us to create over 1,000 meaningful jobs and provide significant economic benefit for Durham region.”

Anfinson went on to add that other features will be added to the destination in the near future. Additional amenities include a health and fitness club, motion pool, health and a 24-hour business center. 

He said in closing: “Great Canadian Entertainment, along with our partners, are very excited to invite everyone to experience this very special resort and look forward to sharing more news as even more dining and amenities open over the coming weeks.”
