Caesars Entertainment has made two major announcements this week, as it celebrates the grand opening of Dominique Ansel Las Vegas at Caesars Palace – and welcomes Vince Vaughn as its 'new face of iGaming and Casino platforms.'
Vaughn has previous experience working with Caesars, having acted as the ‘Master of Ceremonies' during the 53rd annual World Series of Poker. Now he has taken on yet another title with Caesars, being named a 'Prince' within its 'empire' and the ‘Sultan of Slots and the Ruler of Roulette.’
This demonstrates a wider push by the Caesars marketing team to develop its online brands. Caesars Digital Chief Marketing Officer, Sharon Otterman, commented: “Vince Vaughn is the ideal Prince of our iCasino brand. Prince Vaughn represents the entertainment and experience that our customers have with our app."
Vaughn made his debut in this ‘Prince’ persona in the ad spot, ‘Full Caesar,’ dining alongside actor and comedian JB Smoove and the iconic NFL family, the Mannings (with Eli, Archie, Cooper, and Peyton all present).
Vaughn commented: “Working with Caesars is special for me. With my long history of love for Las Vegas and gaming, I am excited to be part of the royal family with Caesar and Cleo." The Wedding Crashers star will promote Caesars Sportsbook and Caesars Rewards in his new role.
Meanwhile, Caesars has unveiled a new bakery – Dominique Ansel Las Vegas – at Caesars Palace which is showcasing a plethora of confectionaries, desserts and decadent treats of all kinds. This includes chef Dominique Ansel’s famed ‘Cronut’ and his ‘Lucky 7’ collection.
The bakery opened on Friday and had an excited reception from Caesars’ patrons, with four customers driving to Las Vegas overnight from Southern California to make the 6AM opening. Ansel and Caesars Entertainment executives were joined by a Caesars Palace Royal Court procession to unveil the bakery had a ceremonial toast with the chef's signature Cookie Shots to commemorate the opening.
Caesars Entertainment Regional President Sean McBurney commented: “Chef Dominique Ansel is one of the most esteemed pastry chefs in the world. The opening of his bakery has been a long time coming. His creations are the perfect addition to our extraordinary culinary offerings at Caesars Palace."
