MGM Resorts has announced its partnership with Las Vegas Raiders’ Davante Adams, who will be its new brand ambassador. As part of this role, Adams will feature in MGM Resorts marketing campaigns, digital content initiatives and participate in MGM Rewards special events.
The MGM Rewards events have become a flagship part of the company’s reimagined loyalty program. It gives both gaming and non-gaming guests access to MGM Resorts’ 20+ premier and features five tier levels, Sapphire, Pearl, Gold, Platinum and NOIR.
Adams will play a key part in promoting this program as a brand ambassador and participate in Rewards events at the company’s luxury properties. From the Bellagio, ARIA, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas; to Borgata in Atlantic City; Beau Rivage in Mississippi; and MGM National Harbor in Maryland.
MGM Resorts believes that Adams brings a sporting prestige that will befit his new title, having arrived in Las Vegas this summer to join former college teammate and current Las Vegas Raiders quarterback, Derek Carr.
Prior to joining the Raiders, Adams spent eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers, during which Adams broke the record for receiving yards in a single season with over 1,500 yards (in 2021).
MGM Resorts International SVP of Sports and Sponsorship Lance Evans commented: “Davante is a class act both on and off the field and has built a strong fan base. We are excited to welcome one of the NFL’s elite players to the family and look forward to his future engagements with our MGM Rewards members.”
Adams is excited to take the new role, saying: “From day one, the MGM Resorts team welcomed my family and me to Las Vegas with open arms. It’s truly an honor to be the first active NFL athlete to partner with this world-class company and to continue building a legacy in this new city I am privileged to call home.”
