Stats Perform to be Exclusive FIFA World Cup Betting Data Provider

FIFA has announced a partnership with Stats Perform to be its official betting data partner for the 2026 World Cup.
The international soccer tournament will be hosted in several cities across the USA, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. The tournament is one of the biggest sports betting events in the world, with analysts expecting the total value of bets to exceed the $38 billion that was wagered on the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Two-Year Deal for Stats Perform
Stats Perform are one of the biggest sports betting data companies in the world, and have partnerships with multiple soccer leagues across the world, including the Italian Serie A and Spanish La Liga top flight competitions.
As well as the 2026 World Cup, the deal will also cover the 2027 Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted in Brazil. The deal will see Stats Perform’s RunningBall team exclusively distribute live betting data to licensed operators to aid in modelling, pricing, and settlement. In addition, the Opta team will exclusively provide live scores as well as match and player statistics.
“We are delighted to partner with Stats Perform, a global leader in sports data”, said Romy Gai, FIFA’s Chief Business Officer. “This innovative partnership will create great opportunities to deliver official products for the benefit of the game and its fans.”
Stats Perform CEO Carl Mergele added: “FIFA competitions represent the pinnacle of the world’s biggest game. Our clients will be delighted we’re able to add FIFA competitions to our Opta and RunningBall official betting data portfolio, and our innovative, AI-enriched Bet LiveStreams service.”
“We share FIFA’s vision to help the magic of the beautiful game be felt more deeply, by more fans, worldwide.”
2026 World Cup Expected to Break Betting Records
The tournament is expected to see record levels of betting, with the US market undergoing rapid expansion, and one of the largest countries in the soccer world, Brazil, enjoying an open and regulated market which was launched last year.
However, some regulators have cast concern over the massive growth of gambling advertising in the tournament, with the French gambling authority officially warning licensed operators to tone down some of their spending on advertising and promotions ahead of the event.
FIFA have acquired several gambling sponsors in recent years, with Betano being selected as the official betting partner for both the 2022 World Cup and the 2025 Club World Cup, which was also hosted in the USA.
