The Virginia casino will feature dining options from seven restaurants.

Rivers Casino Portsmouth has announced during a workforce development and community partnership open house that it will offer its guests seven new restaurant options. The new Virginia casino will welcome well-known and in-house brands to its location.

Rivers Casino Portsmouth is scheduled to open early next year as Virginia’s first permanent casino. The venue will offer dining options from seven restaurants, including Admiral’s Steak & Seafood, Starbucks, Topgolf Swing Suite, Mian, Slice Pizzeria, Crossings Café and BetRivers Sportsbook.

Guests will have access to anything from fine dining to grab-and-go from these restaurants.

In addition to food, visitors to the BetRivers Sportsbook can wager on a variety of sporting events without any scheduling conflicts, including baseball, hockey, soccer, tennis, ping-pong. The sportsbook will air events on multiple high-definition screens simultaneously.

Rivers Casino Portsmouth General Manager Roy Corby said: “From day one, we have been committed to developing a high-quality, state-of-the-art gaming and entertainment complex, and through this impressive lineup of restaurants and amenities we continue to deliver on that promise.

“Each of these exciting new venues comes with career opportunities for job seekers – and we’re recruiting and hiring right now.”

Rivers Casino Portsmouth Vice President of Human Resources Johnée Ingram said the company has been “intentional” in its approach to the hiring process.

Ingram commented: “We’ve been very intentional in our hiring and recruitment efforts to ensure we are building our talent community to support all aspects of the casino, including these new additions to our hospitality department.

“We anticipate increased excitement from job seekers following this announcement of our restaurant lineup and look forward to a great turnout for this Saturday’s job fair.”
