Kay Adams, who is known for her support of the Cincinnati Bengals and being a former Good Morning Football host, is reported to be joining operator FanDuel for a new show.
The details of the show have yet to be revealed but it's expected that the TVG horseracing network owned by FanDuel's parent company, Flutter Entertainment, will be converted into FanDuel TV.
FanDuel TV is expected to be a 24-hour content network featuring studio programming and live sports. The report stated that FanDuel recently circulated documents internally indicating the rebrand was “provisionally planned” to take effect this September. This would be just in time for the NFL season which begins on September 9.
In May, Adams hosted NFL Network's Good Morning Football for the last time. Adams had been a co-host on the show since it debuted in 2016. There were rumors surrounding Adams potentially joining Amazon's Thursday Night Football coverage but that position went to Charissa Thompson.
Content included in the reported plans include shows featuring Bill Simmons and/or staff from The Ringer and Pat McAfee. Both Simmons and McAfee have endorsed FanDuel in the past.
FanDuel has made several moves throughout the month of July; one of its most recent was the launch of FanDuel-branded live dealer studios opening in Michigan and Pennsylvania. The company partnered with Evolution to provide these offerings.
The company has also named Christian Genetski to the role of President and Mike Raffensperger was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer.
FanDuel CEO Amy Howe said: "It cannot be overstated how seminal both Christian and Mike have been to not only the success of FanDuel but to the industry more broadly."
