MGM Resorts, BetMGM team up with the National Council on Problem Gambling

They will work together during the month of March to promote safe gambling and bring awareness to employees and players.
MGM Resorts International and its sports betting arm BetMGM have partnered with the National Council on Problem Gambling as part of their ongoing commitment to promote responsible gaming throughout the month.
March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month. MGM Resorts and BetMGM have doubled down on their efforts to ensure players are making healthy and safe betting decisions.
BetMGM has fully integrated the British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s GameSense program into its desktop and mobile platforms as a way of providing tools to encourage responsible gambling. Players will have access to tips on how to set reasonable limits as well as education that dispels common myths and explains basic gambling principles.
In 2017, MGM Resorts began featuring slot machines with QR codes that provide education and information related to responsible gambling through its partnership with GameSense. Since then, MGM Resorts has expanded its GameSense employee training and has added 180 more advisors to its rewards desks nationwide.
MGM Resorts will provide further employee training throughout this month.
“As we enter our fifth year with GameSense, we remain focused on offering new and innovative resources to our guests, designed to increase responsible gaming awareness and to promote healthy play,” said MGM Resorts CEO and President Bill Hornbuckle. “GameSense remains an instrumental part of our guest service model and we’re confident that it has and will continue to make a difference.”
Adam Greenblatt, BetMGM CEO, said: “Our industry is expanding at a rapid rate as more markets legalize sports betting, and we’re committed to growing the right way. It is important to empower and educate our customers, and the enhancements we’ve invested into GameSense within BetMGM provides the best information and guest services for players to bet responsibly.”
MGM Resorts and BetMGM joined the American Gaming Association (AGA) and became official partners of its “Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly” campaign in September 2021.
