Sports betting operator now in 15 US markets.

BetMGM is launching its digital sports betting platform in Arizona today, just in time for the opening night game of the National Football League season.

The Grand Canyon State marks the 15th market in which BetMGM’s mobile and online products are available.

The operator said its BetMGM app allows users to customize pre-game, in-play, futures and parlay wagers.

BetMGM added its integration with MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards program will give players in Arizona the ability to redeem their gameplay for experiences at MGM Resorts properties nationwide, including Bellagio and MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Borgata in New Jersey, MGM National Harbor in Maryland, Beau Rivage in Mississippi, and MGM Grand Detroit.

“We are pleased to officially bring BetMGM’s mobile sports betting offering to fans in Arizona in time for football season,” BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said in a statement. “We have built strategic partnerships with Gila River Hotels & Casinos and the Arizona Cardinals, two key players in the state, enabling us to create one-of-a-kind experiences for our Arizona customers.”

Gila River’s three Arizona locations, which are owned by the Gila River Indian Community – Wild Horse Pass, Lone Butte and Vee Quiva – eventually, will feature BetMGM Sportsbooks, which are scheduled to open later this year.

BetMGM said it plans to open a first-of-its-kind BetMGM Sportsbook at State Farm Stadium, home of the Cardinals, in time for the 2022 football season.

Born out of a partnership between MGM Resorts International and Entain, BetMGM has exclusive access to all of MGM’s US land-based and online sports betting, major tournament poker and online gaming businesses. Utilizing Entain’s US-licensed technology, BetMGM offers sports betting and online gaming via brands including BetMGM, Borgata Casino, Party Casino and PartyPoker.

Founded in 2018, BetMGM is headquartered in New Jersey.
