Pennsylvania closed the 2020-21 fiscal year with $5.6bn in sports wagers, $441m in GGR $309m in taxable revenue and $111m in state and local taxes.

Though handle fell in June, sportsbooks made up for the decrease in wagers by winning more per bet on sports like golf and tennis, according to Dustin Gouker, analyst for the PlayUSA Network.
