FanDuel has introduced its new peer-to-peer fantasy sports product, FanDuel Picks, to 17 states throughout the US, allowing customers to select between three-to-six players, choose “more” or “less” on projected stat lines and set their wager amount.
“Just in time for NFL season, we are excited to bring fans a social way to engage with the sports and athletes they love with the launch of FanDuel Picks,” FanDuel Picks GM Rob Cullen said.
“The ‘more’ or ‘less’ selection model offers a streamlined fantasy sports experience, and we look forward to offering our customers another way to interact with games this season.”
FanDuel Picks users will then earn points for every correct selection, and customers with the highest score win a share of the prize pool.
On August 28, FanDuel Sports Network, which is owned and operated by Main Street Sports Group, also entered into an agreement with VSiN, The Sports Betting Network, to offer sports betting information to fans throughout the country.
VSiN By the Books will begin to air Monday through Friday on the FanDuel Sports Network application and across nine FanDuel Sports Network regions as part of the agreement.
“We’re thrilled to bring VSiN’s unique sports betting content to the passionate fans that watch their favorite local teams play on FanDuel Sports Network,” VSiN EVP of Talent and Programming Steve Cohen said.
“This latest expansion of our distribution footprint helps cement VSiN’s position as the leading creator of sports betting content anywhere.”
