Penn National Gaming is rolling out three Barstool Sportsbooks during Christmas week – two in Indiana and one in Michigan.

Penn National will open a Barstool Sportsbook at Greektown Casino Hotel in Detroit tomorrow, the same day the casino is reopening from a Covid-19-related lockdown.

The sportsbook will be located on the second floor of the casino and includes a sports viewing area and dining space, a betting counter and numerous sports betting kiosks and ticket writer stations.

“The passionate sports fans in Detroit and throughout Michigan have been excitedly awaiting the opening of our new Barstool Sportsbook,” said John Drake, Vice President and General Manager at Greektown Casino. “We look forward to welcoming them when we reopen the casino tomorrow evening.”

Another Barstool Sportsbook will launch tomorrow at Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg, which is 20 minutes west of Cincinnati, Ohio. On Wednesday a third Barstool Sportsbook will open at Ameristar East Chicago.

“We are very excited to be opening our newly branded Barstool Sportsbooks,” said Rafael Verde, Senior Vice President of Regional Operations for Penn National. “The new designs incorporate the spirit of the Barstool Sports brand, resulting in unique sports wagering and dining experiences that we expect our customers will thoroughly enjoy.”

Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg and Ameristar East Chicago rebranded their sportsbooks under the Barstool name.

“Hollywood Lawrenceburg and Ameristar East Chicago have been offering sports wagering in Indiana for well over a year,” said Verde. “The passionate sports fans in the Tri State area and Chicagoland have been eagerly awaiting the opening of our new Barstool Sportsbooks, and we look forward to introducing both in the coming days.”
