Battle of Malta Online Starts This Weekend With $1 Million Guaranteed Tournament

The Battle of Malta Online on CoinPoker kicks off this weekend, opening with a $1 million guaranteed CoinMillion.

That’ll only be the start of three weeks of online poker action on the crypto-native site, during which $30 million in tournament guarantees are up for grabs. Players will additionally vie for 100 packages to the in-person Battle of Malta, set for Oct. 27-Nov. 4 later this year.

The CoinMillion has a $215 buy-in and a $1 million guarantee, making it one of the most attractive tournaments in the industry this weekend. It’s also one of the biggest of the entire $30 million series, as CoinPoker looks to start its biggest-ever series with a banger.

CoinMillion will be a two-day event that awards a physical trophy.

Since Sunday marks the first day of the festival, plenty of other marquee events are on tap. Six-figure events include the $122 CoinMasters Asia BTC with a $150,000 guarantee and the $109 Sunday Kickoff with a $100,000 guarantee. High rollers can get in the mix with the $1,500 CoinMasters BTC High Roller.

Players can also begin trying to advance through Day 1 flights for the $55 Main Challenger ($500,000 guaranteed) and $11 Main Crusader ($100,000 guaranteed). Qualifiers who get through those flights will play for the big money on Aug. 3, the last day of the series.
