More Than $7 Million in Rewards Now Available Each Month on CoinPoker
CoinPoker has increased its monthly rewards program to give $7 million back to the players, starting in July.
The $7 million will be distributed via a four-part rakeback system, which will include the traditional CoinRaces system while adding several avenues of rewards collection. Meanwhile, flat daily credits, colloquially referred to as rakeback in the industry, will be discontinued.
“This update moves CoinRewards further toward an activity-driven model, with more rewards going into the mechanics players actively compete in, complete, and interact with while they play,” CoinPoker posted on social media. “We believe rewards should recognize the players who bring action to the games and help create a healthier, more engaging poker ecosystem for everyone.”
CoinRaces Carried Over, Joins New Rewards Programs
CoinRaces, the daily rake races separated by stake and game, will continue to give rewards to high-volume players. CoinPoker has nudged the monthly value of the leaderboards from $1 million to $1.2 million.
Additionally, players can reap some rewards via in-client “Missions.” Missions are available for both cash game and tournament players. When players fulfill these personalized criteria, which CoinPoker announced will align with the player’s normal habits, they’ll unlock rewards. They’ll also have the option to pursue larger rewards or claim lower payouts at a faster rate.
“Bankroll Boosts” will be awarded to players experiencing poor stretches of results. These targeted rewards, exclusive to players at $0.50-$1 stakes and higher, will theoretically help keep players afloat when they’re struggling through downswings.
Finally, low-stakes players will receive special Infused Splash Pots.
Focus on Micro Stakes Part of New CoinPoker Loyalty Scheme
Splash pots have been a part of poker loyalty schemes on several sites since Phil Galfond’s now-defunct Run It Once poker introduced them several years ago. They return money to the players by randomly distributing it into some cash game pots.
Players will see a special graphic pop up informing them that an Infused Splash Pot has been activated. Up to 1,000 big blinds will be added to the next pot, with each player at the table guaranteed a cut.
Infused Splash Pots will be exclusive to tables with $0.25-$0.50 blinds and lower. CoinPoker promises 100% reinvestment of poker fees back into the micro-stakes games, an effort to support growing the game.
