Casino Mogul Steve Wynn Gifts Stepson $32M Mansion Amid Family Fallout
Casino mogul Steve Wynn recently gifted his stepson, Nick Hissom, a $32 million mansion in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The purchase comes after Hissom’s music video for the song So Cool Babe featured extremely racy content, leading to a falling out between Wynn and his stepson. Wynn and his wife, Andrea Hissom, allegedly kicked Nick Hissom out of the house.

As reported by Page Six, Wynn purchased the $32 million house for Hissom.
The extravagant house features:
- Six bedrooms
- Nine bathrooms
- Waterside estate located on Everglades Island in West Palm Beach
- Includes a dock for boats
Advertising executive Richard Schaps and his wife, Linda, previously owned the mansion.
According to a Page Six source, Wynn “plans for his stepsons Alex and Nick Hissom to redevelop the property with its own dock and views of Mar-a-Lago into a one-of-a-kind Palm Beach manse.”
Wynn won’t be located too far from his stepson, as he bought a $12.9 million West Palm Beach mansion two years ago.
What happened between Steve Wynn and Nick Hissom?
In May, Hissom released a music video for his song So Cool Babe.
Shot in Palm Beach, Hisson’s steamy music video included multiple poolside hook-ups, a threesome shower scene, and several adult entertainers.
Hisson, a gay man, explained his rationale for the video following a public breakup with Kameron Ramirez that made headlines.
“I have gone through a lot and now I am navigating the world as a single and gay man,” Hissom, who first came out when dating his ex, tells us. “There are a lot of things not resolved personally, but a lot of things to celebrate and be excited about. This has also been really, really fun. I am having an amazing time. I am still hurt, but I am going to have fun and just live my life.”
After the video came out, Page Six reported that Wynn and Andrea kicked Hissom out of the their LA mansion. Wynn allegedly made his staff pack Hissom’s car with his belongings and move it to the street.
Hissom denied these allegations, though he began posting from a hotel room shortly after the incident.
The So Cool Babe music video has been removed from YouTube.

Wynn is arguably best known for starting Mirage Resorts, a hotel-casino operating company. Wynn founded the company in 1973 and continued until its merger with MGM Grand, resulting in MGM Mirage. However, MGM Mirage is now MGM Resorts International.

Through Wynn Resorts, Wynn established several high-profile luxury resorts and casinos, including the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Las Vegas.
Scandal leads to Steve Wynn’s resignation
In 2018, Wynn faced several sexual assault allegations.
One of the allegations dates back to 2006, with a former salon manager at the Wynn Las Vegas claiming the casino mogul fired and intimidated her into silence after reporting a rape to Andrew Pascal, then-Wynn Las Vegas president.
A former dancer also came forward and accused Wynn of sexual misconduct.
Although Wynn denied the allegations, he resigned as Wynn Resorts’ CEO and Chairman of the Board on February 6, 2018.
Wynn later paid $10 million in a sexual conduct settlement.
Steve Wynn’s net worth
Because of his prominence in the casino and luxury hotel space, Wynn’s net worth skyrocketed into the billions.
Wynn’s estimated net worth is $3.7 billion.
Wynn, 84, has two daughters with his first wife, Elaine Wynn. Wynn and Elaine divorced in 2010. Elaine later passed away in April 2025.
After divorcing Elaine, Wynn married Andrea Hissom in 2011.
