Scientific Games adds Christine Wechsler to senior leadership team

Christine Wechsler has been appointed as Scientific Games’ SVP of Public Policy and Government Affairs. With 20 years’ experience handling legal and government issues, Wechsler comes from a background at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP, where she was a Partner.

She has also previously served as Executive Deputy General Counsel to the Governor in the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel, as well as spent 10 years as an Assistant District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office

Wechsler, who holds a Juris Doctor degree from Massachusetts’ Temple University, will join a team focusing on government affairs, public policy and advocacy at Scientific Games. Part of her role will be to drive maximum proceeds for lottery beneficiary funding and cement Scientific Games as the ‘partner of choice’ for government-regulated lotteries.

Scientific Games, founded in 1973, currently provides lottery, technology, gaming and analytics services to 130 customers across 50 countries. The company prides itself on meeting regulatory standards in the fields of corporate governance, security and quality.
