NHL names Low6 as its official free-to-play gaming provider
The two will continue working to cultivate partnerships and further engage hockey fans.
Low6 has expanded its partnership with the NHL to extend its digital gaming footprint. The company will represent the league as its official free-to-play gaming provider.
Low6 began its collaboration with the NHL at the end of 2022. The two have released several NHL-themed Low6 titles that include NHL Stats Streak presented by SAP, NHL Winter Classic, NHL Stadium Series and NHL All-Star Bingo, as well as the 2023 NHL All-Star Fan Vote presented by Guaranteed Rate and 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs Bracket Challenge presented by Geico.
Low6 noted that both organizations share values that include digital innovation and fan engagement, which will enable the duo to “work together to enhance fan experiences and activate commercial partnerships.”
The company said in a statement: “We are thrilled that Low6 has been selected as a free-to-play games provider for the NHL. Over the next two years, we will be providing highly innovative games, actionable data and a whole heap of fun for users.
“We look forward to working with the NHL and their commercial partners in activating revenue throughout our gamification suite.”
Low6 released its first NHL-themed free-to-play game, NHL PrePlay, at the end of last year through a partnership with Bet99, a Canadian-based online sports betting company.
Bet99 offers its users access to betting education. Players can answer multiple predictive outcome-based questions during NHL game days for opportunities to win cash and NHL shop gift cards.
Low6 is a sports gaming technology company that powers brands, sportsbooks, teams and leagues “with bespoke gaming experiences to engage and monetize their digital fanbases.”
