Hard Rock’s temporary casino to open in Virginia this summer
The temporary, full-service casino is scheduled to open in Bristol on July 8.
Hard Rock International has announced it will open its first Virginia temporary casino location, Bristol Casino – Future Home of Hard Rock, later this summer. The doors are scheduled to open July 8 after a celebratory ceremony.
The temporary facility has 30,000 square feet of casino space available. It will feature nearly 900 gaming slots, 20 tables, an adjacent smoking sports lounge and a sportsbook that will provide various gaming options. The casino will also have a Hard Rock store, as well as non-smoking and high-limit gaming areas on its main floor.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol President Allie Evangelista said: “I cannot wait to open the doors on July 8 for our temporary casino in Bristol. We continue to hire new team members daily and are working hard to fill remaining positions with hiring events over the next couple of months, including two events next week.”
Evangelista also expressed her excitement for what the temporary casino will do for the city and region.
“Visitors will be thrilled to enjoy fantastic gaming and dining opportunities at our new property,” she said. “Bristol Casino — Future Home of Hard Rock will be a major draw to Bristol and the region as we move toward completion of our full-scale resort and casino.”
Hard Rock CEO Jon Lucas said: “We are excited to open the casino and welcome guests.
