Argentinian provincial lotteries close year with responsible gaming initiatives

Provincial lottery authorities in Argentina’s Corrientes and Chaco provinces have wrapped up the year with separate initiatives aimed at promoting responsible gaming and raising awareness of the risks associated with unlicensed gambling activity.

In Corrientes, the provincial lottery held a public event as part of its Programa Diversión Responsable (Responsible Play program), targeting residents and tourists during the peak summer season. The initiative focused on encouraging healthy gaming habits through interactive activities, community engagement and educational messaging. 

Provincial officials said the program was designed to reach younger audiences and families in high-traffic public spaces, reinforcing responsible play principles outside traditional gaming venues.

Meanwhile in Chaco, Lotería Chaqueña supported the 43rd Chaco Sports Awards, an event organized by the Chaco Sports Journalists Association with backing from the provincial government through the Chaco Sports Institute. 

The ceremony took place to recognize athletes, sports institutions and community contributors, including the selection of the province’s Athlete of the Year.

The event was attended by provincial authorities, sports officials and representatives from Lotería Chaqueña, highlighting the lottery’s role in funding and promoting sports development at the local level. 

Lucas Carabajal, from motorsports, was named Athlete of the Year during the ceremony.

Both initiatives reflect a broader approach adopted by Argentinian provincial lotteries, combining responsible gaming outreach with investment in social, cultural and sports programs.
