Chumash Casino Resort kicks off annual Project Pink campaign

Chumash Casino Resort has brought back its Project Pink campaign, an initiative to aid in raising awareness throughout October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, according to a recent Indian Gaming news report.
The campaign also raises funds for a local non-profit organization.
The casino will sell pink-colored snacks, sweets and drinks in its resort eateries throughout the month. The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians Foundation has agreed to a dollar-for-dollar matching grant for this year’s proceeds. A portion of what is raised this year will be donated to the Breast Imaging Center at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital, according to the local report.
“Project Pink has grown into a meaningful annual tradition at the Chumash Casino Resort, thanks to the incredible dedication and passion of our Food and Beverage team,” said Kenneth Kahn, Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians Tribal Chairman Kenneth Kahn told reporters. “We’re honored to continue supporting the Breast Imaging Center at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital, whose life-saving work impacts our community every single day.”
