Altenar to power Multibet’s sportsbook
The Brazilian iGaming brand has chosen Altenar to be its sportsbook provider in the country.

Multibet, one of the first regulated betting operators in Brazil, has selected Altenar as its sportsbook provider.
The operator is a fast-growing early player in the Brazilian iGaming landscape and was impressed with Altenar’s local expertise.
This will mean the Multibet sportsbook will include all of Altenar’s special features, including the bet builder function, which empowers players to customize their bets across all manner of games and sports.
Altenar’s fully managed sportsbook is currently found in more than 30 different countries and the company has prior experience of South American markets having been licensed in Colombia since July 2017.
Frederico Caputi, Sales Manager at Altenar, said: “Brazil is one of the most exciting markets globally, and this deal highlights Altenar’s ability to deliver a reliable, flexible and fully compliant sportsbook tailored to local needs.”
Good to know: In March 2025, Altenar announced that it had partnered with Inspired Entertainment, a deal which brought virtual sports products to the sportsbook provider’s offering
Multibet is a brand run by local operator RR Participações e Intermediações de Negócios, which was founded in 2015 and has stated its intentions to continue growing in Brazil through the integration of cutting edge features.
James Oliveira is the Chief Product Officer at Multibet and commented: “We were particularly impressed by their local presence and know-how, which enables us to lead the way in the market, while being a responsible operator.”
That emphasis on responsibility tallies with a recent move to ally the company with Daniel Fortune, a local influencer, to strengthen and promote safer gambling practises.
