- Golden Gate Casino will host a celebratory promotional event on September 19, with those in attendance representing the first to experience the new table games pit
Golden Gate Casino has formed an exclusive partnership with Interblock to help the property become the first Downtown Las Vegas operator to install a fully electronic table game (ETG)-powered table games pit within its casino floor.
Owner & CEO Derek Stevens originally announced the casino’s efforts to integrate a full ETG table games pit on August 13, as current table games dealers working at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino will now be offered similar roles at Circa Resort & Casino and The D in Las Vegas.
“We’re excited to reimagine the player experience at Golden Gate with an ETG arena that combines the thrill of traditional table games with the variety and fun today’s players expect,” Stevens said.
“Being the oldest property in Las Vegas, Golden Gate has a history of firsts, and we’re proud to keep that spirit alive by introducing the city’s latest gaming innovation.”

Good to know: In an effort to bolster the property’s compliance team, Resorts World Las Vegas appointed Lou Dorn to Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary and Elizabeth Tranchina to serve as General Counsel for the property on September 10
“Interblock is honored to partner with Golden Gate Casino on this historic transition,” Interblock Global CEO John Connelly said.
“Our ETGs bring the best of both worlds — the camaraderie of classic table games, combined with the fast-paced, interactive play that today’s players are looking for. Together with Derek and his team, we are setting a new benchmark for what the downtown Las Vegas gaming experience can be.”
The new ETG zone at Golden Gate Casino will feature a combination of Interblock’s latest releases for table games such as craps, roulette and blackjack, as well as LED signage and responsive lighting.
