SIGA adopts Agilysys solutions to unify operations across casino properties

The implementation is part of a strategy to streamline operations and strengthen service delivery.
Key Points
- The rollout covers Bear Claw Casino & Hotel, Dakota Dunes Casino and Gold Eagle Casino, among others
- The systems replace property-specific tools with real-time reporting, automated supplier pricing and centralized cost management
Agilysys announced that the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) has selected the Agilysys InfoGenesis POS and Agilysys Eatec inventory and procurement solutions for use across all seven of its casino properties in Saskatchewan.
The decision supports SIGA’s broader plan to upgrade and unify its operations and part of the authority’s long-term approach to service delivery, operational efficiency and community impact.
By implementing Agilysys technology across Bear Claw Casino & Hotel, Dakota Dunes Casino, Gold Eagle Casino, Gold Horse Casino, Living Sky Casino, Northern Lights Casino and Painted Hand Casino, SIGA will centralise food and beverage operations, reduce waste and standardise processes across properties.
The solutions also provide integrated data flows that enable faster reporting and more consistent enterprise management.
The move follows SIGA’s assessment that its previous property-specific systems created challenges for procurement, inventory management and consolidated reporting.
Under the new system, staff will have access to real-time reporting, automated supplier pricing and improved cost control, replacing the manual spreadsheets and fragmented processes previously required.
Peter Abutu, SIGA Project Manager who oversaw the implementation, said: “As a First Nations-owned non-profit organization, SIGA strives to strengthen the lives of First Nation people through employment, economic growth opportunities and positive community impact. The fact that Agilysys respects our First Nations principles and has business practices that align with them is also an important factor when we consider a longer-term technology partner.”
Kevin Doucette, SIGA Director of Operations, added: “Investing in modern, scalable technology that equips us to deliver consistently excellent service across properties, while also improving the work experience for our team members and using resources conservatively and responsibly is central to how we serve both our business stakeholders and our broader community.”
Agilysys technology is also expected to support SIGA’s future integration of food and beverage systems with its casino management platform, enabling loyalty-based offers informed by real-time guest data. The organization also plans to implement Agilysys Analyze for reporting and is reviewing potential hotel system upgrades.
Good to know: Boyd Gaming has recently selected Agilysys InfoGenesis as its new point-of-sale (POS) system
Ryan Carrier, Area VP of Gaming at Agilysys, commented: “It is a privilege to collaborate with an organization like SIGA, whose approach to hospitality modernization combines operational excellence with a strong sense of community purpose.
“Our experience serving tribal gaming properties has demonstrated our respect for how cultural values and forward-thinking technology can align to elevate guest experiences, streamline operations and drive long-term impact across properties and communities. We are proud to work alongside the team at SIGA to achieve their goals.”
