Arizona reports $897.6m in sports wagers during November

The Arizona Department of Gaming has released its sports wagering figure in the state for the month of November. 

In total, sports wagering handle was valued at $897.6m, which represents an increase of 25.8% year-over-year. Compared to October 2024’s report, total sports bets were up around 13.4%. 

Mobile wagers, as would be expected, brought in the bulk of that total figure, with $890m being wagered by players via mobile sportsbooks, while the remaining $7.62m came from retail sportsbooks. 

DraftKings was the operator that brought in the largest amount in wagers during the month both in terms of retail and mobile, with total wagers for the company reaching $293.4m. 

Following behind was FanDuel with $288.7m in wagers and the operator in third was BetMGM with $111.6m in total sports wagers. 

Good to know: Louisiana has this week published online and retail sports betting figures for January, posting $383m in total handle 

Looking at winnings paid to players during November, the total figure stood at $811.3m, with $804.5m coming via mobile sportsbooks and $6.83m coming from retail sportsbooks.  

Given it accepted the largest total of sports wagers, it was DraftKings which paid out the highest to players during November, with the operator paying out $266.9m in total during the month. 

In total, the state of Arizona collected $5.73m in privilege fees during the month, $57,357.90 from retail and $5.67m from mobile.
