MightyTips and Marathonbet team up to expand their reach in Brazil
The duo said it hopes to capitalize on the growing market.
Affiliate MightyTips and Marathonbet have entered a partnership that will cover the Brazilian iGaming market.
Part of the motivation for this deal is the growing interest in sports betting and online gambling throughout the region.
MightyTips said in a statement, “This strategic partnership will help Marathonbet to skyrocket its presence in the giant South American country, with a population of over 215 million, boosting acquisition numbers in an increasingly competitive market.”
Softswiss recently released a report that outlined online casino and sports betting activity during 2022. According to the findings, more than 46% of Brazilians participated in online casino and sports betting activities that year.
The report went on to suggest that the country’s sports wagering market “is significantly larger than that of online casinos.”
MightyTips Communications and Marketing Manager Eugene Ravdin said that the company is eager to collaborate with Marathonbet.
He commented, “Marathonbet is one of the biggest names in betting. Its long and storied evolution from the beginning of iGaming is incredible and we can’t wait to work alongside them.”
A spokesperson for Marathonbet further added, “We are pleased to announce the beginning of a long and fruitful cooperation with MightyTips.
“We are sure this will bring us and the players only positive emotions, and we wish all the players good luck and many victories.”
In response to the growing interest in Brazilian sports betting, the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has called for decision-makers in Latin America to “increase their focus on creating a robust sports betting integrity ecosystem to tackle match-fixing.”
Part of the new Brazilian regulatory framework includes a requirement for licensed sports betting operators. Under the new regulations, these operators must join an independent integrity monitoring body.
