Fanatics launches NHL on-ice player uniforms

The uniforms will be worn throughout the 2024/25 season.
In collaboration with the National Hockey League (NHL), Fanatics has officially debuted its first self-branded and designed player uniforms for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
The Fanatics Authentic Pro NHL on-ice uniforms are the by-product of a collaboration ongoing since 2018, which has seen the sportsbook design and manufacture training uniforms for the NHL’s players and coaching staff. After announcing a partnership expansion last year, Fanatics is now the official provider of NHL on-ice uniforms for the next 10 seasons.
Manufactured by SP Apparel in Quebec, the new facet of this collaboration will call on the designer’s expertise and experience of making on-ice uniforms that spans over the last 50 years.
Fanatics’ logo will now be displayed on the back neck of the jerseys, with other small updates to the design including additional fabric inside the lower sleeve, new shoulder fabric and a new NHL Shield embroidered on the front neck of the jersey.
Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin said, “I couldn’t be prouder to unveil the first-ever Fanatics branded NHL uniforms. These jerseys were meticulously crafted in lockstep with NHL players, the NHLPA, equipment managers, teams and the NHL.
“We’re excited to debut the jersey we’ve developed that will not only be worn by the best hockey players in the world, but also, for the first time in a decade, these same jerseys can be purchased by the NHL’s passionate fans as well.”
This was built upon by NHL Commissioner, Gary Bettman, who added, “NHL uniforms are considered by many to be the best in sports, and the history, tradition and respect that goes with our NHL sweaters is paramount to both the NHL and Fanatics. Fanatics listened to our players and clubs, and preserved the quality, performance and design of our uniforms to serve our world-class athletes.
Earlier this month, Fanatics Betting and Gaming welcomed a new CMO in Selena Kalvaria. Her new duties include overseeing brand development and company marketing, where she will likely see some involvement with this latest branding campaign.
