Both companies will be providing new video lottery terminals (VLT) to the operator.

Supplier IGT will bring new video lottery terminals (VLT) to Loto-Québec following the win of a competitive bid. The move comes at the same time Loto-Québec announced a partnership with Aristocrat, which will also be providing new VLTs.

In the case of IGT, the terminals will be provided by subsidiary IGT Canada Solutions. The machine, the PeakDual 27 VLT, has a dual-screen design and 13.3 digital player panel. It will offer a variety of IGT games including The Wild Life 5 Line and Big City 5's as well as new games such as Temple of Fire and Samurai 888 Katsumi.

The Aristocrat VLTs will be hosted on the MidKnight X Upright cabinet. Games available on these machines will include Fire Light, Fu Dai Lian Lian Panda, Prosperity of the Nile and others.

Both companies have an expansive reach, working with operators across the globe to provide technology and games to operators. In the last two weeks, IGT extended its contract with the UK National Lottery and Virginia Lottery, with IGT now being a partner with the Virginia Lottery for 24 years.

Aristocrat, meanwhile, has seen financial success in 2023, earning $4.1bn in the fiscal year 2023 for a year-on-year increase of 13%. Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director Trevor Croker called the growth a demonstration of “ongoing resilience, competitiveness and diversification of our portfolio.”

EVP and COO of Gaming Establishments at Loto-Québec Stéphane Fraser said they were “pleased” to announce the partnership with Aristocrat and IGT, adding regarding IGT that, "for decades, Loto-Québec has looked to IGT to supply quality hardware and game content to our gaming establishments network.”

IGT SVP Sales, Canada, South and Central America David Flinn explained, "Winning the opportunity to deploy VLTs in Loto-Québec's current replacement cycle speaks to the trust that the corporation puts in IGT and to the superior quality of our products and services."

Aristocrat Gaming CRO Kurt Gissane said, "Gaining entry into the Québec VLT market is another major milestone for the company... we're excited for the opportunity to have a presence in Québec and are hopeful for a longstanding relationship with Loto-Québec."

Also today, Light & Wonder has secured an agreement with Loto-Québec.
