The company will remain a global sponsor for the next three years.

Colombian football club Atlético Nacional has named Betsson as its new global main sponsor as part of a three-year agreement.

Under the terms of the deal, the operator’s logo will feature on the club’s jerseys. This is the first time in 23 years that the team will sport a fresh logo and look on its jerseys.

Betsson’s logo will be on both the men’s and women’s team jerseys at the beginning of the 2024 Colombian football season.

Betsson said the deal “reconfirms its long-term commitment to Latin American sports and continuous growth in the region.” The company said it will be an active sponsor by “delivering excitement and surprises to fans.”

Betsson Operations CEO Jesper Svensson commented, “We are honored to be the main sponsor of the legendary Rey de Copas (King of Cups), the biggest and most successful team in the history of Colombian football.

“This partnership, occurring as Betsson just celebrated its 60th anniversary, further solidifies our position as a leading supporter of Latin American sports. Recognizing the immense passion stirred by Nacional, we are committed to providing fans with unforgettable moments, offering them a football experience like never before.”

Atlético Nacional was founded in 1947. Since making its debut, the club has claimed 33 titles, including two Libertadores Cup wins.

The club took a moment to comment on the partnership by saying, “We welcome Betsson with open arms. A company with a global presence and expansion projects in Latin America that aligns with our goal to be a reference in international football. Together, we are sure that we will conquer great titles.”
