He brings decades of financial and leadership experience to his new position.

Sportradar has appointed Jim Bombassei as SVP, Investor Relations and Corporate Finance. Bombassei will assume his new duties effective immediately and will be based in New York.

Under his new role, Bombassei will oversee the development and maintenance of global investment community relationships. He will also be responsible for communications regarding the company’s financial performance, business model and long-term strategy.

Throughout his career, Bombassei has served in several executive roles in the gaming, technology and media industries. Prior to his current position, Bombassei worked for SciPlay Corporation as its CFO and oversaw accounts for the company.

He also worked for Viacom, where he served as a leader for the company’s investor relations and corporate finance departments during his 30-year tenure.

Company CFO Gerard Griffin took a moment to welcome Bombassei to his new position and described him as an asset to Sportradar.

He commented, “We are pleased to welcome Jim to the Sportradar team. He is a talented and respected finance executive, with a wealth of investor relations experience and a track record of success.

“Jim will be a great asset as we continue to communicate our vision and strategy to the market and our investor community.”

Sportradar was recently selected by Caribbean Cage to represent the Caribbean and Latin American gaming company as its official technology and services provider. The two signed a multi-year deal that will allow Sportradar to install its sports betting solution and player account management system, Orako.

Through Orako, players will be able to access both Ballers Sportsbook and Sportradar content through one platform. They can choose from a variety of wagering options, including parlays, teasers, futures, in-game wagering and player props.

Along with its expanded presence into the South American region, Sportradar’s reach extends throughout North America, including several US states, as well as territory in Canada.
