Bally's, Caesars, Golden Nugget, Hard Rock, Ocean Casino and Resorts Casino will all spread awareness and raise funds with new pink offers.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the casinos in Atlantic City are planning to support the cause with many offers and campaigns in the month’s signature pink. Fundraising events and charity activities will benefit the American Cancer Society (ACS) and breast cancer research.

President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce in Southern New Jersey, Christina M. Renna, said, “Like many people, I have always enjoyed driving to Atlantic City in October and seeing all of the Atlantic City’s casinos lit up in bright pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“Breast cancer impacts so many lives and families here in New Jersey. By bringing awareness through various events and activities this month, the casino industry is helping to support and make a difference for communities they serve.”

Some of the planned activities and offerings at the various casinos in the Garden State include: signature pink cocktails and other pink menu items at each casino, participation in the ACS’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, participation in the Men Wear Pink campaign and more. A portion of proceeds from many of the cocktails at various casinos will be donated to the cause.

Caesars will turn all of the fountains at Tropicana pink and donate all coins tossed into them to the ACS, Ocean Casino will sell cookies and Resorts casino will encourage guests to dunk a comedian at a boardwalk event. Hard Rock will also release Pinktober-themed merchandise, hold a dunk tank event with staff and produce a Pinktober Rocks concert with Foreigner, as was as provide mammography screenings for its team.

Mark Giannantonio, President of the Casino Association of New Jersey, said, “This is a disease that impacts all of us, from all walks of life, and it’s critically important that we do our part to raise awareness and encourage people to donate and take action.

"We are honored to once again partner with local and national cancer prevention organizations to fight against breast cancer.”
