Players in California can access West Wanted and Battle Mania-themed games for the first time at this Tribal casino.

Los Angeles-based software developer Velvix has released two slot machines, West Wanted and Battle Mania, at California’s Chicken Ranch Casino. Now on the casino floor at the property, this marks the debut of both themes within California.

Chicken Ranch Casino features nine table games and more than 580 machines on its gaming floor, as well as an authentic bingo hall. The destination is currently expanding its casino and developing a five-story hotel resort that is scheduled to open within the next year.

Once completed, guests will have access to nine-story resort with 5 floors encompassing 197 hotel rooms, 22 of which are suites, along with a 12,000 square-foot conference space. Additional restaurants will also be available to guests.

Chicken Ranch Casino Director of Gaming Christoph Phipps commented on the new slot releases by saying, “We were immediately attracted to Velvix’s game themes, especially both West Wanted and Battle Mania. They speak to our audience and our location very well.

“We are excited to build a relationship with a new manufacturer, especially as we look to launch our new resort in 2024.”

Velvix Managing Director Chris Wieners briefly explained the synergy between the two companies and took a moment to thank the Tribal casino for its continued support.

He commented, “The entire team at Chicken Ranch Casino has been supportive of us as a new manufacturer.

“Their interest in trying new themes and working with us as they look to build their slot floor footprint is incredibly exciting – I look forward to a long-term relationship with their Tribe.”

Velvix debuted in 2019 and is a subsidiary of XSGroup. The company was founded as part of XSGroup’s electronic gaming machine’s (EGM) rebranding initiative and develops EGM software and cabinets within the North American market.
